Jordan Brand are back for 2018 with a incredibly solid collaboration.
Reminding me very much of the Denim/Denim Dunk Low by Reese Forbes or ‘Denim Forbes’, that came out back in 2002, here is a very aesthetically pleasing silhouette, complimented with a Denim trim, bliss.
The entire upper of the shoe uses denim both reversed and not reversed, with contrast stitching to intentionally make the denim pop more, not that it needs that. Another nice feature are the laces, which have a distressed look to them and one thing I’m happy with, is that the colour is more of a dark indigo, which I think is the best shade of denim.
In addition to this, another rad feature, is how the tongue tag actually has the shoe size, the Jordan Number and Levi’s logo, so if you see someone wearing these in years to come and regret sleeping, boom. Bend down and you will see if it’s your size.
The midsole is a cocaine white with a gum bottom, so a match made in heaven.
Retail is £209/$225 so fairly high, even if it is a collaboration. Quality should be on point, but it’s Nike, so the shoes most likely will come with glue stains, scuffs, discolouration, etc.
Quantities are limited, so best of luck to everyone!
